Cork City Council has launched a Covid-19 Community Response Forum to ensure that vulnerable members of the community or those living alone can access vital grocery, medicine and fuel deliveries and social care supports.
The team can be contacted on a dedicated community support helpline at 1800-222-226 which is running from 8am-8pm seven days a week. Contact can also be made by emailing covidsupport@corkcity.ie.
The core aim of this forum is contributing to the community-wide effort to limit the spread of COVID-19 by ensuring a coordinated community response. Cork City Council’s COVID-19 Community Response Forum will work to ensure that local resources – including social care support and social contact – are targeted at the people who need them most.
